Welcome to the official website of Mackinaw Recreation. Our goal is to keep our citizens informed of the many athletic programs we have to offer as well as maintain communication on projects that the Board is working on. Mackinaw is very proud of its Recreation Program and it shows by the amount of support and annual participation from the community. We have come a long way since the days of having to drive out of town to play a sport. Let us take pride in our community and continue to make Mackinaw the best "Little Town" for recreation, remember, it's all about the kids!

Mission statement
The Mackinaw Recreation Program serves all age groups in the community by providing year round activities for the children through baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and basketball programs. Most programs encompass children from kindergarten through eighth grade. All programs include opportunities for parents to enjoy quality time with their kids as volunteers. The children's programs have been very successful and there is a high level of participation. It's one of the best year round programs to be found among communities in the area.
Don't see a sport that you wish your kids could participate in or just is not represented in Mackinaw Recreation Program? Dance, wrestling, swimming, etc. If you have an interest, we want to hear from you. All it takes is one great resident to make that sport come alive for all the kids in our town. Contact one of our Board members or just come to a meeting!
